Spots & Dots

Here's a quick look at an outfit I wore over spring break.  Yes, I know.  I'm surrounded by snow.  Luckily the white stuff is gone most places, and spring is right around the corner.  For at least the past week some of the most beautiful bright flowers have been all over Instagram (including some of my own), reminding me that the season is changing.  Time to start swapping out those heavy winter knits for some light layers and my favorite spring accessories.

How I really felt about this past winter...kidding, it could have been worse!

Striped Tee // Gap (similar)
Scotch Plaid Shirt // L.L. Bean
Ponte Pants // Celebrity Pink Jeans
Floral Gauze Scarf // Old Navy
Gloss Welly Boot // Hunter Boot

The scarf is much more voluminous than it seems from the way I wore it; the Old Navy website shows it much more accurately.

And if I had them at the time, my outfit would have definitely included these adorable boot accents courtesy of Classic Legacy.  Although I've had enough of the snow, I wouldn't mind a rainy day here and there so I can wear these sweet little additions.  Check out all the other Accents by Classic Legacy for your rainboots, scarves, handbags and more.  Be sure to use the promo code "inspirationele" to get 10% off your order!

Who else is ready to roll out their spring wardrobe?

  1. Mixed prints win!! I love this outfit and how you paired "neutral prints with a brighter, more colorful accessory. Plus, it looks super comfy for those long days of studying 😉

    1. thank you! This has been a typical look this winter. "Grab whatever is clean and comfortable" haha, definitely looking forward to some light colors and warm weather.
